Jacqueline Rae (Burgess) Correia was raised in Kitimat of the Northern Coast of B.C. in a family of wolves…hah hah kidding, but she does like wolves!
Oldest of 5 children, she often escaped into nature, curiously observing and tramping about the dense rain forest. She would return and spend endless hours drawing her visual experiences. Surrounded by a family of artists and musicians, she was encouraged to pursue art from an early age. This love of drawing and design grew.
Jacqueline pursued formal art training in Graphic Arts and Visual Communications at David Thompson University in Nelson, B.C. (now Selkirk College). She continued to apply her trained eye in design, details, and symmetry in the creative but disciplined field of advertising. She married her young love, John. Together they raised 3 AWESOME children and shared various business and career pursuits.
Her daughter, Joelle, of Prism Permanent Cosmetics, invited her to join her in training in Permanent Makeup. Together they certified at Bio Touch Canada in Vancouver B.C. under leading instructor Lisa Zhang.
